I've long been a fan of Jack Chick comics, entirely for their humor value. As you probably know, I'm a long-time comics fan and I was raised on Marvel, so this is right up my alley...

Decided to play around with Vox as floyd has been using it for a while now, and with the LJ cross-posting I won't feel like I'm abandoning my old stomping grounds. We'll see how this pans out.

Work at Griffin is still going swimmingly. I'm taking my first vacation day tomorrow so I can enjoy a 5-day weekend (granted with two shifts at my night/weekend job that cannot be named on der InterWüb) with my family for Secular Turkey Consumption Holiday. Got a little work to get through today and then two whole days of not HAVING to leave the house.

One of the many perks of working at Griffin is the lax dress-code. After testing the waters for a month I decided to go ahead and bring back the ole septum piercing. It has been missed! I feel like myself again, though I still feel pretty naked without my glasses.
Though it has not been without problems. It took me a few days of stretching to get ready for the 6g jewelry and it was doing fine, albeit a little sore. That is until Riley decided to take a whack at it with his new weapon of choice. OUCH! Since then it has been a sore/bloody/crusty mess that I have been slowly nursing back to health.
